As part of the year-end activities, a recreational outing was carried out for children and mothers from North Lima, belonging to families who reside in the area known as Cerrito de La Milla and have limited economic resources. These initiatives are among the activities the community looks forward to each year, as they provide opportunities for recreation and shared experiences outside their usual environment.
The activity included transportation, meals, admission tickets, and the distribution of gifts and toys for the children, ensuring safe and organized access for all participants. The outing was organized by Solidarity Peru, with the support of the Rottkamp Charitable Foundation, and was carried out in a collaborative manner, highlighting the active and well-organized participation of the mothers throughout the day.
Beyond the assistance provided, the initiative sought to strengthen family and community bonds, reinforcing values such as inclusion, accompaniment, and teamwork, within a space designed for enjoyment and shared experiences.
